Fixed Cone Valves
Fixed cone valves are free-to-discharge valves commonly used to regulate water flow from dams and reservoirs. They are often used as turbine bypass valves, reservoir drain valves, or continuous discharge flow control valves. Fixed cone valves work by controlling the flow of water through a small orifice. The orifice is typically located at the centre of the valve body. The size of the orifice can be varied to control the amount of water that flows through the valve. Fixed cone valves are often used in applications where a constant flow rate is required. These valves are also sometimes used in irrigation systems to control the amount of water that flows through an irrigation system.
